Taskdop started with one idea: Why do tasks get lost in teams?

Over five years managing operational processes across different companies, we kept seeing the same problem: People tracked work through emails, Slack messages, meeting notes, or just "in their heads." A task would go to Alex, Alex would say "I hadn't checked," but it had actually gone to Daniel — and no one knew.

Kanban boards, project management tools, Jiras, Asanas... All great tools, but they all ask the same question: "What stage is this task in?" But the real question is: <strong>"Who has this task right now?"</strong>

Taskdop exists to answer that question. Not a task tracking tool, but a <strong>task handoff platform</strong>. The simplest way to hand off a task from one person to another, see who has it, nudge when needed, and record the entire story from start to finish.

Our goal is simple: A world where no one has to ask "What happened with that thing last week?" in the morning.
