We collect the name, surname, email address, and password (hashed) you provide when creating an account. Information you provide about your business or team (company name, title) is also included.

Task titles, descriptions, attached files, comments, and nudge messages you create while using the platform are processed. This data is only visible to you and your authorized team members.

Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, operating system, page view durations, and error logs. This data is used to monitor and improve the platform's technical performance.

2. How We Use Data

Collected data is used for the following purposes:

• Creating, managing, and supporting your account
• Facilitating task handoffs between team members
• Delivering notifications to you (email, Slack, etc.)
• Monitoring and improving the platform's technical performance
• Complying with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

Your data is not shared with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• Service providers that supply the platform's technical infrastructure (data storage, email delivery) — these providers only have access for the specified purpose and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
• When required by law (court order, government agency request) — in such cases, you will be notified in advance where possible.
• In the event of a merger or acquisition of Taskdop by another company — in this case, your data will be transferred to the new owner and the policy will be updated.

Taskdop never sells, rents, or shares your data for advertising or third-party marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention Period

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete or cancel your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Automatically collected technical data (logs) is retained for 12 months, after which it is anonymized or deleted. Data subject to legal retention obligations is retained for the period specified in the relevant legislation.

5. Your Rights Under KVKK and GDPR

Under KVKK and GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right to information: Learn what data of yours is being processed
• Rectification: Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction of processing: Request restriction of data processing in certain circumstances
• Data portability: Export your data in a structured format (CSV/JSON)

Taskdop only uses essential technical cookies and session management cookies. No third-party marketing or tracking cookies are used.

• Session cookie: Keeps your session active after login (valid for the session duration)
• CSRF cookie: For form security (valid for the session duration)
• Preference cookie: Remembers your language and theme preferences (1 year)
